President's Message

            

Assalam-o-alaikum! As the 24^th President of this organization, I welcome you all to the website of Students’ Patient Welfare Society. This organization was established by a group of voluntary Kemcolians more than two decades ago, with a spirit of bringing smiles on the faces of ailing humanity. The aim was simple i.e. to provide maximum possible relief to the suffering, helpless and unattended patients. With every passing year; faces changed, the working spectrum of the society also expanded…….but that spirit of “Service to Man is Service to God.” remained the same. It is that spirit that has nourished this seed, sown about a quarter century ago, into a strong tree now AlhamduLillah. The standards of excellence set by our predecessors are very high and it is a challenge for us to make it even better. I feel privileged to be a part of a great team of volunteers and dedicated medical students who are very much determined to keep this torch burning.

               Students’ Patient Welfare society is an organization which apart from  serving the depressed and deprived patients; is also a great institution for young medical students to learn the realities of life…...to feel the real pain and realize the actual problems that  patients are facing around them. I will like to request all of you to join hands with SPWS in helping the helpless. What we are doing may be  just a drop in the ocean.  But if that drop was not in the ocean, the ocean would certainly be less because of that missing drop.
