In our final year maternity duty in Lady Wellington Hospital, we realized that they dont have even the basic health and patient care facilities like SonicAids and Nebulizers. They still use fetoscopes (a pipe like instrument which is placed on mother's abdomen) to measure the fetal heart rate. Moreover they also did not have any nebulizer with them, patients were being sent to Mayo for call if they needed nebulization. Realizing this SPWS set out to arrange SonicAids and Nebulizers for each unit for the welfare and better health of mothers of our community. Finally SPWS donated 3 SonicAids and 3 Nebulizers, one for each unit, to Lady Wellington Hospital.
